The House of Dancing Water, having premiered in September 2010, is a water-based stage production written and directed by Franco Dragone. The City of Dreams resort on the Cotai Strip in Macau hosts this production, the second water show of its kind created by the Dragone company.
By February 2013, this 90-minute show has been performed over 1,000 times and seen by over 2 million spectators. Performed upon a flexible stage that can transform itself into different sets, the show features acrobatic elements and original acts, with a cast that includes over 80 gymnasts, circus artists, dancers, divers, actors, and motorcyclists.
These performers work alongside 160 production staff, technicians, and professional scuba divers from around the world.

4 fixed Barco FLM Projectors | 10 Barco DML-1200
In addition to the four fixed projectors displaying the show’s gigantic backdrop, there were 10 Barco DML-1200 projectors that moved from one unexpected surface to the next: from skimming the water’s surface, to dancing amid water jets shooting through the air, to navigating through objects made from chain mail, and more.
To realize the creator’s vision, they used Photon to integrate real-time editing and compositing with the lighting, audio, and automation.
The result was the most ambitious permanent show built to date.
